Everything your team needs to know to book events, track instruments, and manage demo kit logistics across Canada.

Adding a new event

On the Calendar tab, click + Add new event below the calendar to expand the form.

Fill in Start date and End date for multi-day courses.

Enter Speaker, Organization, City/Location and Venue name.

Add the Contact person and email — the on-site coordinator at the venue.

Enter participants and kits needed.

Select kit type(s), then tick the specific instruments requested. Only items for the selected type appear.

Set the Sample Box toggle and Status, then click Save event.
Tip: To edit an existing event, click its name in the calendar list or in the Agenda tab to expand it inline.

Editing an event

Click any event name in the calendar list or Agenda to expand it.

The form opens inline — all fields are editable directly on the page.

Update tracking numbers, instrument selection, order numbers, or status as needed.

Click Save changes to confirm, or Close to discard.

To remove an event, click the Delete button at the bottom of the expanded form.
Tip: Mark as Returned promptly when kits come back — this releases instruments from committed counts in inventory.

Managing inventory / items
1
Go to Inventory / Items and use the dropdown to select a category.

In stock — total units owned. Click the number to edit directly.
3
Committed — automatically calculated from active events that include that item.
4
Available = In stock − Committed. Turns red when short.
5
To add a new item, type the name and quantity at the bottom and click + Add.
Tip: Items only track as committed if individually ticked in the event form.

Glossary
EventAny course, study club, conference, or demo where Curion demo kits are shipped to a speaker or venue.
SpeakerThe dentist or clinician delivering the course and using the demo instruments.
Rep attendingThe Curion sales representative present at the event.
Contact personThe on-site coordinator — the person to call for shipping or logistics issues at the venue.
Kits neededNumber of individual participant kits required. Typically participants + 1 speaker demo kit.
Kit typeThe product category — ARTE SS, ARTE DD, Dark Diamond, Perio, Hygiene SS, Hygiene SD, Loop LED, or Other.
Hygiene SS vs SDSS = Stainless Steel (traditional). SD = Sharpen-Free (SharpJack, NV1, NV2). Two separate kits.
Instruments / ItemsSpecific tools or consumables selected per event based on speaker request.
In stockTotal units of a given item owned by Curion Canada.
CommittedUnits assigned to active events. Kits needed × events that include this item.
AvailableIn stock minus Committed. Turns red when insufficient for upcoming events.
Status: PreparingKit booked but not yet shipped.
