2 Days Hands-On Program with Dr. Gordon Chee and Dr. Sunny Virdi

Restorative dentistry makes up a large part of our daily work as general dentists. Day in and day out, patient’s present with different situations and challenges. We as dentists want to deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients. Our goal is to share how we achieve beautiful, efficient, and less stressful restorative dentistry through our protocols. Let’s make restorative dentistry enjoyable for all practitioners, so you can look forward to daily dentistry, from common posterior restorations to aesthetic class IV composites. We will cover how to manage cases with isolation and adhesive strategies, followed by improving your composite techniques. The second day will feature indirect restorative techniques, focusing on adhesive restorations using glass ceramics. We will discuss treatment planning and the decision making process when utilizing an indirect approach.
Course Objectives:
- Learn the foundations of absolute rubber dam isolation
- Bonding decisions and techniques
- Class II composite protocols
- Class IV composite protocols
- Treatment planning and material selection with partial coverage, ceramic onlays, and full crowns
- Preparation design and bonding protocols
- Hands on component: rubber dam placement, class II composites, class IV composite, and ceramic onlay preparation, followed by bonding protocol

Your Instructor:
Dr. Gordon Chee is a general dentist at Aesthetic Dental Studio, a boutique aesthetic dental practice in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, that focuses on aesthetic restorative dentistry and dental photography. He is an International lecturer and teaches his own dental photography mentorship programs through Kre8 Photography and speaks and trains on the topics of dental photography and anterior aesthetics for Elevate Dentistry, the Seattle Study Club, and the Aurum Group.
Dr. Sunny Virdi, born and educated in Winnipeg, Manitoba, obtained his D.M.D from the University of Manitoba in 2016. He maintains a group private practice with a focus on comprehensive and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Virdi has published multiple articles for aesthetic journals and shares his passion for restorative dentistry through lecturing at study clubs, nationally recognized hands-on programs and international symposiums.
